Always ready to stir up a curry at the drop of a hat, Ved and Priyanka manage their time at work and at home with 3 teenage children and enjoy weekend getaways.

He graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in medicine in 2001.

During his medical training, he successfully completed an additional science degree in Immunology.

After residency training in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics, he gained acceptance onto the prestigious Edinburgh anaesthetic training programme. Subsequent training involved highly sought after positions in tertiary academic hospitals in Glasgow and Melbourne.

After his senior fellowship training at Monash Health, his love of international tennis and sport in general led him to settling in Melbourne.

Dr. Anand is meticulous in the provision of safe and cost-effective anaesthetic care to his patients.

He is rigorous in the maintenance of his specialist knowledge and professional standards.

Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his family, and pursuing his hobbies of stand up paddleboarding, motorcycling, flying and tennis.

He has significant trauma experience, and was the anaesthetist in charge at the Alfred hospital on significant Victorian trauma events, such as on the saturday of the black Saturday fires as well as the Flinders street car rampage in Melbourne.

He and his co-authors have been approached by Wiley Publishers to edit a book for junior doctors entitled Perioperative Medicine for the Junior Clinician. This book ties together the complex care of unwell patients and is aimed at improvements in patient experience and safety during their perioperative journey.

Allister brings a wealth of chair time knowledge and is passionate about preventative dentistry, believing that most dental problems can be prevented entirely or resolved more simply in their early stages. He has a strong interest in Aesthetic and restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, and root canals) and is capable of tackling those more difficult tooth removals.

Since 2014, Allister has extended his cosmetic knowledge to incorporate FastBraces orthodontic treatment into his treatment planning for his patients. Treatment can often take less than 120 days. Allister has been a Senior Master Provider for Fastbraces since May 2019.

Outside of dentistry, Allister enjoys cooking, especially on his kamado bbq, and is an avid DIY’er, gardener, and during covid learning to become a home barista. Allister also enjoys traveling with his wife and 2 teenage children.

Dr Prema Gopal is an overseas-trained general dentist with more than 20 years of experience in dentistry. Having owned and operated her own dental practice overseas, she brings extensive clinical experience together with a warm, patient-centred approach to care.

Known for her gentle and friendly manner, Dr Prema has a particular passion for helping anxious and nervous patients feel comfortable and at ease. She strives to create a calm, welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, supported and confident about their dental care.

Dr Prema enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with special interests in surgical extractions and cosmetic dentistry. She finds it especially rewarding to help patients achieve a smile they can feel confident about. She is also a strong advocate for preventive dentistry and believes that the ultimate goal is not simply to create a beautiful smile, but to help patients maintain a healthy smile for life.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Dr Prema has undertaken continuing education in areas including Invisalign ,implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry, allowing her to continue expanding her knowledge and provide comprehensive care to her patients.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Prema enjoys spending time in her garden and getting lost in a good book. She brings the same warmth, patience and genuine care to her professional life as she does to the things she enjoys outside the clinic.

An opportunity to broaden her horizons and experience Australian lifestyle led Claudia to move to Australia and then she successfully obtained her Australian Dental Board registration as a general practitioner.

Claudia continued to further her knowledge in dental Implants and All on 4 surgery. She has trained with the specialists in this field and accomplished the clinical residency of All on 4 in Portugal. Also, she obtained a graduate diploma in dental implants from James Cook University.

Currently Dr. Beltran interests include wisdom teeth extractions, complex extractions, exposure of impacted teeth, implant surgery, All on 4 surgery and pre-prosthetic surgery.

Claudia combines her surgical skills, knowledge and experience from all aspects of her training to provide an exhaustive assessment and treatment plan. But most importantly, she regards her compassion and attention to her patients’ needs as her greatest asset for providing optimal care.

Kae is an experienced practitioner whom has a special interest in delivering pain-free Cosmetic Dentistry and Sleep Dentistry. She is also very skilled in helping anxious patients have pleasant experiences with dental treatment which she does regularly with and without sleep dentistry (Nitrous oxide and General Anaesthetic). Kae works intimately with her patients to develop effective prevention and treatment strategies which she individually tailors and delivers at each patient’s desired pace.

Kae enjoys playing music, singing, travelling and spending time with her family. She does yoga and meditation regularly and is passionate about self-development. She also loves to spend time with Gaia, her cute little white fluffy dog.

Nav enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in children’s dentistry and has focused her continuing education in paediatrics and endodontics. She has a special interest in volunteering as a dentist in disadvantaged communities treating indigenous young children.

She has a gentle, caring approach and is very much at ease looking after nervous and anxious patients.

Nav is also passionate about clear braces which are an alternative to straightening teeth for anyone who does not want fixed braces. Nav is committed to attending regular dental courses for continuing post-graduate education, over the past 10 years

Debbie’s passion for dentistry extends to the local communities where she provided ‘Teeth Talk’ – dental health education to local pre-schools and schools. She volunteers to give interactive talks on preventative dental care and provide dental health checkups for children. She also actively contributes to the local and international mission such as ‘Run to Red’ to help, support and empower social and economic disadvantaged children and communities in Australia, UK, New York, and Cambodia.
Debbie is highly committed to updating her skills and knowledge by continuing her professional development to provide optimum treatments for her patients. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her family and friends. Debbie and her husband are blessed with one son, who is growing up too fast! He also holds a Dental Degree and is a Doctor of Dental Medicine in the Philippines. George brings to our practice 20 years of experience in the dental field. Since moving to Melbourne George has worked extensively in Dental Health Services Victoria with children.

George is very experienced in working with nervous patients and is extremely gentle and thorough taking the time to go into great detail with you regarding your gum and dental treatment. He believes in the importance of educating his patients to enable them to achieved long term good oral health and like the rest of our team, maintains a high level of ethical standard and sensitivity in his delivery of dental care.

Chantelle worked for several years as a clinical co-ordinator at Healthy Smiles Dental Group, whilst simultaneously completing the Bachelor of Oral Health in New South Wales. This has provided her with exposure to the public and private dental setting and has developed her skills in providing individualised dental treatment to various dental patients, with differing needs.

As an Oral Health Therapist, Chantelle works as both a dental hygienist and dental therapist and has the patience and experience to provide care for patients with high dental anxiety as well as special needs. Providing great dental care is about treating the whole person, and Chantelle strives to accomplish this at each appointment.

Chantelle’s special interests include advanced and general periodontal treatment, paediatric dentistry, preventive dentistry, oral health education, orthodontic treatment, and oral health promotion program development. Chantelle’s eye for detail means she enjoys the aesthetic aspect of dentistry and will provide tailored treatment plans to enable patients to have the healthy beautiful smile they truly desire.

Katie Nguyen graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health (dual qualified dental hygiene/therapy degree) from Charles Sturt University in NSW, she returned and gained knowledge and experience with a graduate certificate in Adult restoration with Sydney University. Katie enjoys all aspects of dentistry and since graduated has worked in private and specialist clinics.

Katie is educated in the philosophy of minimal intervention dentistry with a strong emphasis on prevention and oral health promotion. As an oral health therapist Katie provides our patients with routine dental care and maintenance, and also treats children, adults for preventative and restorative work.

Outside of work, Katie has a passion for golf. She likes traveling and exploring new cultures and food.

Victoria Cuce graduated from RMIT University with an Advance Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) 2017 and was fortunate enough during her studies to gain a variety of clinical experience at The Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne, North Yarra Community Health and working alongside North Richmond Community Health program “Chompers”.

She began her career in dental 15 years ago as a dental assistant, completing Certificate III in Dental Assisting (2014) and Certificate IV Dental Assisting -Dental Radiography (2015) at RMIT University. Victoria flourished within the dental industry, working as a senior dental assistant and practice manager at a private practice in the North Eastern Suburbs.

Victoria’s prides herself on providing a positive, comfortable and trusting environment. She strives to improve, maintain and achieve patients’ oral health goals by delivering effective education and preventive treatment.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys quality time with her friends, family, and dogs. She especially values the moments she shares with her husband and son during her free time.

Dimitri graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2022, where he was recognised as one of the top graduates in his cohort. His academic excellence earned him multiple awards, including the Dean’s Honours List and the Australian Dental & Oral Health Therapists’ Association Graduate Award for achieving the highest overall performance in his final year.

With a strong passion for continual growth, Dimitri went on to complete an Honours degree in Biomedicine in 2024, conducting research in oral medicine with a focus on periodontal treatment and its effect on desquamative gingivitis in patients with oral lichen planus. He graduated with First Class Honours, solidifying his dedication to evidence-based care and patient-focused dentistry. His research has been well received and is currently being prepared for publication in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.

At Healthy Smiles, Dimitri is known for his gentle approach, especially with children and individuals with additional needs. He believes in empowering patients through education and takes pride in delivering functional, aesthetic, and long-lasting dental restorations.

Katherine is one of our superstar Dental Assistants, she was born in Singapore and migrated to Melbourne at the age of 12. She is currently completing a bachelor degree and has a lot of interest in the dental field, she is highly motivated and goes above and beyond to make your visit at Healthy Smiles a positive one!

As the 2IC at Healthy Smiles, Kristine is an experienced Dental Assistant who is known for being quick and efficient in her work. She has mastered the technique of four-handed dentistry, which allows her to support the dentist seamlessly and make each patient’s visit smoother and more comfortable. Kristine takes pride in creating a positive experience for patients while ensuring the dental team is supported to deliver the highest standard of care.

Outside of work, Kristine enjoys spending her weekends at farmers markets and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Sineshmi is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Nursing and has a strong interest in patient care and the healthcare field. Foram is a friendly and dedicated Dental Assistant with two years of experience in dentistry. As the 2IC at Healthy Smiles, Patcha brings both skill and compassion to her role. She holds a qualification in Dental Assisting with Radiography and has been working in the dental field for several years.

Before starting her dental career, Patcha worked as a chef, where she developed a strong sense of teamwork, patience, and attention to detail. These qualities are ones she now carries into her work with patients every day. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable during their visits and supporting them with genuine care and kindness.

Patcha lives by the motto “Always believe it’s tough, but you can do it,” which inspires her to give her best in everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Alongside his clinical work, Manav has recently completed a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Physiology and Pharmacology at Monash University, where he is now undertaking an Honours research program. With plans to pursue postgraduate dentistry, he is committed to expanding his knowledge and skills in the field. Maahi is a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant with a strong clinical background in dentistry. Annabelle is a vibrant and dedicated dental assistant known for her bubbly personality and boundless energy. Lara is our dedicated Practice Manager, Lara brings to our team many years of leadership skills in the medical field, she is organised and has a strong commitment to providing a positive working environment for all of the team at Healthy Smiles.

In her role, she oversees the smooth running of the practice for practitioners, the dental assistant team and the front office team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, she supports staff development, and helps create a positive, welcoming environment for all.

Outside of work, Lara has a passion for travelling with her husband, she enjoys catching up with friends, watching the Essendon Football Club and spending time with her west highland terriers.

Wajid Ali Saiyed is a Senior Surgical Assistant, specialising in All-on-X full-arch implant rehabilitation. BDS-qualified with an MBA in Healthcare Management and an MPH (Advanced Digital Health), he assists across the full surgical workflow, builds the theatre and documentation systems around it, and trains assistants in full-arch protocols.

BDS-qualified Senior Surgical Assistant and Practice Manager in Ballarat, specialising in All-on-X full-arch implant surgery, theatre systems, and assistant training.

Outside of work, Sock enjoys cooking, baking, and sewing, bringing creativity and attention to detail into every aspect of life.

Outside of work, Kiri adores reading, especially mysteries and books about sharks, her favourite animal. She also enjoys spending time with friends and loves a fun night out.

Outside of work, Ethan loves adventuring, everything to do with cars, and exercise.

She believes in maintaining a healthy balance between work and home life. Outside the clinic, Rosaline enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and appreciating the little things that bring joy.

Luiza is one of our friendly Front Office Coordinators, she is always happy to help and enjoys getting to know all of our patients, making sure they feel comfortable and well looked after.

Alongside her hard work at Healthy Smiles, Luiza is studying Psychological Science, complimenting her understanding and care for patients who may feel anxious about visiting the dentist.

Outside of work and uni, she enjoys yoga and Pilates, shopping and dance moms.

Outside of work Caitlin enjoys going to the gym and a fun games night with her friends. Caitlin’s bubbly attitude and dedication to her work and to the patients of our practice make’s her a fantastic member of our team!

Srishti strives to make every patient feel comfortable and well looked after. Known for her friendly approach and caring nature, she takes pride in supporting both patients and the dental team to ensure a smooth and positive experience for everyone.

Outside of work Darcy enjoys road-trips and playing video games. Darcy’s positive attitude and dedication to the patients of our practice, make her an excellent member of our team!

Dance is one of Andrea’s greatest passions, as it keeps her connected to joy and community. She also values mindfulness and spirituality, which help her stay grounded and bring balance to both her work

He is currently pursuing his further studies in Nursing at Monash University in Melbourne and is also looking to get a degree in Paramedicine in the near future.

With extensive experience in dental assisting and a passion for excellence, Kaitlyn has built a wide skill set across all dental procedures and now focuses on guiding the team to deliver the highest standard of care. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her beloved sausage dog Winston and energetic border collie MJ. She loves relaxing with her pets, getting outdoors, and making the most of her downtime.

Beth is a passionate and inspiring leader. She takes immense pride in her team and strives to motivate those around her. With a genuine passion for people, Beth cherishes the fun interactions with her patients, always providing top-notch care with a personal touch. Outside of work, she adores her cat, Chia, and is known for her ever-changing, vibrant hair colors!

Ellaizah has a passion for art and music, having a few of her pieces displayed in museums and awards in performing musical arts.
